GMAC Insurance has partnered with Next Wave Insurance Services to offer agents and brokers direct online access to GMAC Insurance’s monoline commercial vehicle program.  After becoming a sub producer (see instructions below), you will have the ability to submit applications, obtain a quote, bind coverage, process endorsements, make payments and more via Next Wave’s website linking directly to the dedicated GMAC Insurance eAgency website.

Available Coverage - GMAC Insurance specializes in writing light to medium duty vehicles of all makes and models that are used for local to intermediate distances in a variety of businesses.

  • Vehicle types - Personal autos to commercial trucks up to 66,000 gross vehicle weight (GVW). Most customized and permanently attached equipment is also covered.
  • Driver types - Drivers with or without points as well as youthful to elderly drivers
  • Liability limits - State minimum up to $1M CSL

Ineligible Risks - Risks exceeding 10 power units, emergency vehicles, fast food delivery, vehichles over 66,000 GVW, livery, vehicles used for repossession, vehicles hauling hazardous materials. Please see website for complete list of ineligible risks.

Step #1 Obtain Next Wave Agency Appointment: If you are not already appointed, return to this website's Home Page and click on "Become a Producer".  Fax the forms to 619-234-6500...or scan and email them to submissions@nextwaveins.com .

Step #2 Obtain GMAC Insurance Sub Producer Code: Complete the following forms (A) GMAC Ins Next Wave Insurance Agent Authorization Packet...and (B) GMAC Ins. Next Agent Agreement...or (C) GMAC Ins. Next Wave Broker Agreement.(CA Agents Only)

*Once these forms are received a Next Wave representative will assign you a Sub Producer Code. GMAC Insurance will then email you directly with a welcome letter, including instructions for obtaining your password.
